Christmas at The Thimble is the unhurried kind. Low ceilings, a crackling fire, a cosy corner held for you and yours — and a three-course festive menu that celebrates the best of Dorset at its most generous.
Traditional roast turkey with duck fat roasties and pigs in blankets sits alongside slow-braised beef shin, pan-fried hake and a charred aubergine curry, followed by Christmas pudding, sherry trifle and Piddle Valley cheeses. Local produce, proper cooking, no rush.
£40 per person. Served 27 November – 24 December. Booking is essential — gather your people and let us do the rest.
